Armed conflict often brings instability, uncertainty, and fear to those living in affected regions. In such moments, people are usually left with two difficult choices: to remain and seek safety in shelters or secure areas until the situation improves, or to leave the region entirely in search of safety for themselves and their families.
Thankfully, for all of us here in Kuwait, life continues to remain largely normal and peaceful despite the uncertainty around us. The Government of Kuwait has taken significant steps to ensure the safety and well-being of both its citizens and the expatriate community—many of whom proudly call Kuwait their second home. Essential goods and supplies remain readily available, and emergency and public services continue to operate around the clock, ensuring stability and support for everyone.
However, in times like these, it is natural for some residents to consider traveling abroad for added safety. Similarly, there are others who are eager to return to Kuwait to resume work or reunite with loved ones. While Kuwait International Airport remains temporarily closed and flights are suspended, alternative travel arrangements have been made available.
Both Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways are currently operating flights from nearby cities in Saudi Arabia, such as Al Qaisumah and Dammam. Passengers are transported overland from Kuwait to these locations, where they can board flights to various international destinations.
Jazeera Airways took the initial step in organizing such travel options, beginning operations on March 20 with flights to destinations including Mumbai, Kochi, Goa, Tbilisi, Sharm El Sheikh, and Hurghada. Since then, it has rapidly expanded its network and now offers flights to nearly 40 destinations worldwide.
Kuwait Airways has also broadened its services. Initially arranging special return flights from cities like Barcelona, Milan, Paris, Munich, and Bangkok, it now operates routes connecting to destinations such as Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Manila, and Amman.
Passengers planning to travel to or from Kuwait are advised to check the official websites or contact authorized offices of both airlines for the latest information on flight availability, schedules, ticket prices, and transit visa requirements for Saudi Arabia.
Q8REALTOR extends its best wishes to all travelers—whether departing from or arriving in Kuwait—and encourages everyone to follow airline guidelines carefully to ensure a safe and smooth journey.

For those who have chosen to remain in Kuwait, it is important to stay calm, cautious, and well-informed. Avoid misinformation and rely only on official updates from government authorities. When going out for work or essential activities, remain vigilant and adhere to safety guidelines. In the event of sirens, residents are strongly advised to stay indoors and prioritize the safety of their families.
In these challenging times, let us remain united, patient, and hopeful. May the Almighty protect Kuwait, its people, and all who call it home, and may peace and normalcy return soon. Amen.
